The Scott Brothers, who have blazed a bright trail in the home furnishings industry with their Scott Living line, will be joining us at our upcoming online Bedding Conference.
In a special segment, I’ll be interviewing Drew and Jonathan Scott and asking them about the emerging home renaissance that brings good news to the home furnishings industry in general and the mattress industry in particular.
I can’t think of two people who are better qualified to weigh in on consumer trends in these days of the COVID-19 pandemic than the Scott Brothers.
They are well-known in our industry, as evidenced by those towering banners on Building C on the World Market Center campus in Las Vegas and the big crowds they always draw at market appearances.
And they have a unique bond with consumers around the world through Scott Brothers Global, the leading lifestyle and entertainment enterprise that they co-founded. Their Scott Living collection, which features a partnership with Restonic, is part of that global powerhouse.
Drew and Jonathan host multiple top-rated HGTV series, including Emmy-nominated “Property Brothers;” “Brother vs. Brother,” one of the biggest shows on cable TV; “Celebrity IOU;” and “Property Brothers: Forever Home,” which premiered as the strongest new series to launch on HGTV in more than two years. Those shows have millions of viewers in more than 160 countries.
The Scott Brothers are helping us promote the Bedding Conference, and, again, we couldn’t ask for better partners for that work. They have 4 million Facebook followers, 5.5 million Instagram followers and 2.5 million Twitter followers. All told, they have more than 18 million monthly TV viewers and 12 million followers across their digital platforms.
Their video promoting the conference, in which they said they will be joining me at the Bedding Conference, has been a strong performer on our social media platforms.
With those consumer connections, it’s clear that when Drew and Jonathan speak about home furnishings trends millions of consumers listen. That’s why we all need to listen carefully to their thoughts on the new home renaissance.

Our online Bedding Conference kicks off with a social media launch at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 18. Sessions will be held in the mornings and afternoons for the three days of the conference, Aug. 18-20.
My interview with Drew and Jonathan will air at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 19. That promises to be a highlight of the conference, but there will be several others. Each day we start with a fun surprise and then jump into key issues swirling through the industry.
