Furniture Today’s upcoming Bedding Conference will be unlike anything you’ve seen before.

It will be educational, fun, full of connections and packed with bedding insights. You’ll hear from literally dozens of industry leaders in a new digital format that our team has spent weeks developing, with input from bedding executives across the industry. The Bedding Conference has been reimagined and reinvented.

This 15th edition of the bedding industry’s flagship event shifts to an online format in this COVID-19 world, one that will enable us to expand our reach around the country and around the world.

Many of our sessions will come to you from Furnitureland South, the world’s largest furniture store, located in Jamestown, N.C. We couldn’t think of a better broadcast partner.

We didn’t make the decision on our new format lightly. We spent weeks talking to industry leaders, monitoring health officials’ evolving recommendations, and considering various options, including a hybrid event that would have combined a smaller physical conference with online sessions.

In the end, the best decision for the health of our attendees was to embrace a digital conference.

Our redesigned Bedding Conference is set for Aug. 18-20 and will feature a strong lineup of business leaders and industry experts, along with several new segments and events. It’s the best of the traditional Bedding Conference program, with exciting new video segments.

We’ve got three busy days of educational sessions on the agenda, featuring thought leaders from inside and outside the industry, and we’ve also got several opportunities for you to connect with us during the conference, through question-and-answer sessions, a brainstorming event and a cocktail hour.

“It’s All About the Online Experience” is our conference theme, one that takes on added significance in a business world in which online connections are now more important than ever. Our program will help you boost the online components of your business, and will also highlight the continuing importance of brick-and-mortar mattress retailing. This is a must-attend event for those serious about improving their mattress business in these challenging times.

Former Disney University training executive Doug Lipp will deliver the keynote address. Business analyst Gene Marks will talk about opportunities in the changing business landscape, and branding expert Warren Kornblum will discuss the importance of out-of-the-box thinking.

Online bedding guru Mike Magnuson, CEO of GoodBed.com, will provide an overview of the rapidly developing online mattress marketplace. Bob Muenkel of Nectar, one of the industry’s fastest-growing online bedding retailers, will join a retail panel that also features Miskelly Furniture’s Dr. V, Alan VonderHaar.

Better Sleep Council executive Mary Helen Rogers will look at mattress shoppers and mattress shopping today, presenting new industry research.

Also featured is a Dos Marcos Podcast featuring bedding veterans Mark Kinsley and Mark Quinn, who will discuss key issues being addressed during the Bedding Conference.

Panel discussions will include a lineup of top bedding executives and a look at the emerging CBD trend.

You can find full details at BeddingCon.com, and you can register there. We are expecting a robust turnout.

We welcome you to join us on this dynamic online learning and networking journey.
